Emily Jerkins Hall, CEcD has impacted Alabama's economic landscape through her roles at the state's leading chambers of commerce, including as interim co-CEO of the Birmingham Business Alliance. In her roles as an economic development executive and innovator, her leadership and support on project teams has facilitated over 15,500 job commitments and $4.8 billion in investments across the state of Alabama.

As the co-founder of the Magic City Data Collective with UAB in 2020, Emily has been pivotal in advancing data-related careers for 75 first-generation students, underscoring the critical role of data literacy in fostering economic mobility. Her efforts have contributed to nearly $14 million in grants, aimed predominantly at enhancing workforce development. Emily's commitment extends to her board membership on both the workforce development board and council in the Greater Birmingham Region. Her journey as a first-generation college graduate from the University of South Alabama embodies the transformative power of data literacy, a principle that guides her workforce and economic development work with QuantHub.
