As an educator turned EdTech entrepreneur, Kai Frazier is passionate about using tech to provide opportunities for underserved communities. She is the Founder & CEO of Kai XR, which uses Metaverse technologies to develop critical 21st century skills in students, preparing them for a rapidly evolving future.

Kai XR supercharges student engagement by unleashing the power of cutting-edge technologies. On the platform, students explore virtual field trips, create metaverse makerspaces, and tackle game design challenges as they complete standard-aligned adventures. Through Kai XR, educators aren’t just teaching; they’re preparing students for a tech-driven future, introducing emerging technologies early and safely. Serving over 1,000 educators across the nation, Kai XR is currently used within classrooms in Birmingham City as well as local charter schools such as i3 Academy.

Before creating Kai XR, Kai worked with several museums such as the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum as well as the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History & Culture, specializing in digital strategy and educational content creation.
