Seeing venture capital as more than an asset class, Kellie Clark, Managing Director of Prosper Health-Tech Accelerator (PHTA) powered by gener8tor, believes in its power to drive positive societal change and solve complex problems. In her role, Kellie is responsible for the pre-seed investment fund that provides capital to founders of impactful digital health companies.

Prior to PHTA, Kellie was CEO and co-founder of Appthink, an idea accelerator and community that helps new founders turn bold ideas into successful ventures. Clark has extensive experience in leading programs and driving organizational change. As the Director of Programs and Managing Director at Innovation Depot, an incubator and equity-based accelerator, she developed programs for early-stage founders and supported pre-seed and seed investments in transformative companies in the southeast.

Her accomplishments include launching a pre-accelerator at Innovation Depot and achieving a 200% increase in recruitment and enrollment for Innovate Birmingham's software development Bootcamp. Additionally, she was the lead Project Manager for Birmingham's 2018 Innovation Week, a week-long event celebrating the city's tech ecosystem and engaging local tech talent.

An AmeriCorps alumna, she is dedicated to community service and actively contributes to various non-profit organizations in the southeast.

In her free time, Kellie enjoys outdoor sports and serves as the Southeast Regional Leader for Outdoor Afro, a national organization that promotes African-American connections and

leadership in nature. She is also a board member for Urban Community Montessori School, Tech Birmingham, and Birmingham Bound. Previous board service includes Ruffner Mountain, and Cahaba River Society, and serving as an advisory member for Birmingham Black Techies.
