Born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, LaToria Foy is deeply passionate about supporting initiatives that drive progress and opportunities within her community. LaToria is the Director of Economic Mobility at Ed Farm, an EdTech nonprofit organization with a mission to growing digitally fluent learners and dedicated to advancing education through technology. In addition to her role at Ed Farm, she is actively involved in various organizations, including the Birmingham Tech Council, United Negro College Fund’s Birmingham Young Professionals Advisory Council, and serves on the advisory board for Wenonah High School’s Hospitality Academy. Her commitment to empowering others and fostering growth is evident in her multifaceted involvement in these community-driven initiatives.
Outside of her professional endeavors, LaToria is a devoted mother to a 3-year-old daughter, with whom she loves spending quality time. She is an avid reader, enjoys engaging in creative hobbies, and finds inspiration through travel experiences. LaToria's academic background in mathematics is complemented by her enduring passion for computer science, reflecting her diverse skill set and dedication to lifelong learning and innovation.
