Sarayu Srinivasan

Sarayu Srinivasan is an investor and operator, serving as a senior advisor and board member to companies in the broad tech and consumer spaces including a geothermal energy pioneer and AI-driven industrial sourcing platform. In a previous role, she was a White House Presidential Innovation Fellow detailed to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and later the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB). While at the NIST, Sarayu was the venture capital expert to the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) bipartisan Lab-to-Market subcommittee in the President’s Management Agenda. There she worked across federal agencies and National Labs to drive engagement between federally-funded innovation and venture capital, accelerating domestic innovation and entrepreneurship. She was also a Visiting Scholar at the University of Edinburgh, visiting EIR/VIR at Arizona State University, and a lecturer at universities worldwide including Hult, Kenan-Flagler, Columbia/Barnard, École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, Copenhagen Business School, MIT, Pace, École des Mines, Harvard and NYU. As an analyst and author, Sarayu has published a wide range of academic and practitioner literature and frequently speaks on the topics of global investment, entrepreneurship and innovation. She earned a BA (Architecture, Shakespeare) from Barnard College/Columbia University, Certificates from Cambridge University (Medieval European History, Shakespeare), an MBA from École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and held a research fellowship at Harvard Business School, pre-PhD.
