What’s included in my ticket?

A General Admission ticket includes access to all Sloss Tech programming across the Lyric Theatre and breakout venues (including Sloss.Tech/Dev programming), plus complimentary coffee, snacks, sponsor activations, and our post-event socials.

VIP tickets adds a dedicated VIP lounge with catered meals and refreshments during the conference, a Sloss Tech swag bag, Thursday evening’s VIP experience, and a complimentary ticket to Shindigit@l, the official afterparty + concert at Workplay

What’s the dress code?

Most attendees dress business casual, but Sloss Tech is all about creativity and connection, so bring your personality. Comfortable shoes are encouraged for venue-hopping and standing.

Are meals provided?

Coffee and snacks will be available throughout the conference. While meals aren’t provided, Downtown Birmingham is packed with great restaurants and food trucks, and we encourage you to explore the local food scene.

Will the sessions be recorded?

Mainstage sessions at the Lyric Theatre will be recorded and made available after the event.

Where do you recommend staying?

We suggest checking out hotel options via the Greater Birmingham Convention & Visitors Bureau for proximity to the conference. Most venues are located in the downtown Theatre District.

What’s transportation like?

All conference programming venues are walkable within downtown Birmingham. Rideshare options like Uber and Lyft are readily available. Limited street and garage parking is available near each venue – plan ahead if you’re driving.

Are there any shuttles?

The Lyric Theatre (1800 3rd Ave North)
Innovation Depot (1500 1st Ave North)
Continuous shuttle service to Innovation Depot. Last shuttle departs at 8:20 PM.

Are there any accessibility accommodations?

All Sloss Tech venues are ADA-compliant. Both Sidewalk and Innovation Depot also have sensory accessibility resources like quiet rooms. Additionally, we will have ASL interpreters translating on-site for all Main Stage sessions.

Is there a cancellation policy?

Tickets are non-refundable but transferable. If you can no longer attend, you can transfer your ticket to someone else—just email slosstech@techbirmingham.com with your request before June 20, 2025
